Ole Takai // Founder of Twenty Eighty and passionated freeride skier
This isn’t just a ski trip. It’s access.
You can book Niseko or Hakuba through a travel agent. You can’t buy this.
A journey into another Japan — from the quiet backcountry of Yamaboku to the vast alpine lines of Shiga Kogen, ending in Tokyo’s creative pulse.
Built on trust, local insight, and friendships that open doors — from mountain cabins and hidden onsens to conversations few ever reach.

Why Come
Because the best snow lines, like the best business opportunities, rarely sit in plain sight. You have to know where to look, who to talk to, and when to drop in.
This trip isn’t just about world-class powder — it’s also a rare chance to gain perspective on Japan’s business, design, and cultural landscape through local conversations and experiences you won’t find in a boardroom or guidebook.
The perfect combination if you love food, freeride skiing, and seeing new business opportunities from a different angle.
-
Market insight from Japanese founders and creatives over private dinners.
-
World-class powder guided by local experts.
-
Private photo & video sessions to capture the perfect line and bring the memories home.
